Founded in 1999 by brothers Darin and Scott Murphy, TerraCon General Contractors was built on a legacy of craftsmanship and dedication. Born and raised in San Diego, the Murphy brothers come from a blue-collar family with three generations in the construction trades. From an early age, they were immersed in tools, materials, and techniques—instilling in them a deep sense of value, hard work, and pride in what they build.
With extensive experience in both logistics management and residential construction, the brothers bring a unique combination of skills that drive TerraCon’s success. Their strengths lie in project management, site supervision, and building strong client relationships through clear communication and consistent collaboration.
Today, TerraCon operates out of San Marcos, CA, serving clients throughout North County and beyond. Though Darin and Scott bring different strengths to the table, they remain closely involved in the day-to-day operations—working hands-on to continually improve the quality and experience TerraCon delivers.
